Bayo Ojulari takes over as NNPCL GCEO, pledges to build on Kyari’s legacy

Bayo Ojulari has officially stepped into the role of Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), succeeding Mr. Mele Kyari.
The transition was marked by a brief handover ceremony held on Friday at the NNPC Towers in Abuja.
During the event, Ojulari commended Kyari for his exceptional leadership and unwavering service to the nation, acknowledging the major strides made under his stewardship.
Ojulari stated that his administration would focus on consolidating the successes of the past and pushing the company to greater heights.
While admitting that the road ahead may be challenging, he expressed confidence in the backing of NNPC Ltd’s management, staff, and continued support from Kyari.
“I will be counting on your support. I will need it. I will be coming around to seek your counsel,” Ojulari said while addressing Kyari.
In his remarks, Kyari congratulated Ojulari on his appointment and thanked the company’s staff and leadership for their cooperation during his time in office.
He pledged his continued commitment to the growth of NNPC Ltd and assured Ojulari of his availability for advice and support whenever needed.
