Flying Eagles begin final preparations for 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have officially started the final phase of their preparations for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Abuja.

The team, under the guidance of Coach Aliyu Zubairu, previously spent a month in Katsina for the first phase of their training.

For this final camp, 35 players have been called up, including seven foreign-based professionals.

The squad boasts a strong group of players, many of whom were part of the team that won the WAFU B Under-20 Championship in Togo last year.

Nigeria has been placed in Group B, where they will face Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.

The tournament is set to take place from April 26th to May 18th.
