How my daughter secured NUPRC job after calling President Tinubu – Buba Galadima

Buba Galadima, a prominent figure in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the Kwankwasiyya movement, has opened up about how his daughter secured a job at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) through President Bola Tinubu.
Galadima made this revelation during a recent appearance on a program on AIT, shedding light on his relationship with the president despite his ongoing criticism of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.
In a candid confession, Galadima shared that despite his political differences with the APC, he and President Tinubu have maintained a friendship.
“We are friends and will continue to be friends. If I want anything from him, I can ask,” Galadima said.
He recalled an incident where his daughter used his phone to contact President Tinubu for help securing a job.
According to Galadima, his daughter had recently completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) but struggled to secure employment with the NUPRC, which is led by Gbenga Komolafe.
“My daughter just finished the NYSC, she could not get a job with the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC),” Galadima explained.
The conversation, which began with his daughter explaining her situation, reportedly led to President Tinubu instructing that she be given a position.
“He just asked, ‘call Komolafe’, go and give my friend’s daughter a job,” Galadima revealed.
He also mentioned that his daughter planned to travel to Mecca to express her gratitude to both God and President Tinubu for the opportunity.
Further into the interview, Galadima spoke about his daughter’s previous employment under former President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that she had worked for four years in Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s office without receiving any salary.
“My daughter worked for him for four years and he instructed that she should not be paid salary,” Galadima claimed, challenging anyone to provide proof of payment.
